Hello,

The AGGR isnt realy the issue ... but on a NetApp HA Pair, you have 2 NODEs and this nodes, need to have vol0 to boot, this vol0 need to be on a AGGR. So each node must have an AGGR to be able to boot

But, in some cases, like ADP for internal shelvers, it's possible to split disk in 3 parts, and make AGGR with this parts

The first part is realy thin, and usable for AGGR and VOL0

Questions :

- Are you in ADP mode on your system ?

- Waht is your system model ?

I have two aggregates that were previously created from one disk shelf and now I would like to consolidate the two aggregates into on. One of the aggregates is completely empty and I would like to destroy it but in the past I recall there being some issues around disk sharing and the aggregate vol0.
What is the best that to destroy the aggregate, vol0 for the aggregate, shuffle disk ownership around (if required) so that I can have a single aggregate?

thanks in advance
