Are there any plans to provide a way to combine the constituents of a flexgroup into a flexvol?

At this time I am told you have to actually copy the data and this would require the source volume to be read only during the transfer and that is not practical. Or use an external tool.

why? use ndmpcopy or xcp to copy data live. do incrementals. take the hit for an outage for a final incremental.

I'll second the why, but no, I don't think that would be roadmapped.

That's what I meant by external tool. I'm sure I can do it that way for SMB/NFS but what about iSCSI?

You can't put LUNs inside a Flexgroups, if that's what you're asking.
