hello guys:

I cleared the CRC error report, why the CRC errors value continues to grow, is it time to change the module, does anyone know?

Thank you!

I'd defiantly start by changing the cable and/or optic.

Sometimes it is as simple as a loose connection.
pull each end of the cable. If there are optical transceivers, disconnect those also. Wait a few seconds (5-10). Then plug everything back in

check the counters. If they continue, the easy thing is to simply move the cable to another switch port and continue to monitor.

after that, start with one part at a time. I’ve seen bad twinax, bad fibers, bad optics.

if you do not have other/extra optics, flip the switch side fibers and see if the problem follows the cable or stays at the port. If it stays at the port, then the optic at the switch is bad, get a replacement. If it follows the cable, then move the cables back and then swap cables at the Netapp side. Again if the problem stays then the optic is bad. If IT follows the cable then at this point you could likely reduce the fiber is bad and replace it
