in order to facilitate a migration on a big number of client i would like to know if it s possible to mount a volume in different location at the same time.

the volume is mounted through the old path in 100+ client and it s not really easy to synchronize the change at the same time on all clients.

Yes, same NFS volume can be mounted on two or multiple clients.
Ideally, there should not be any performance issues due to mounting volume on multiple clients.
Mounting of NFS volume on multiple clients can use different NFS versions
Same NFS volume can be mounted on same client using multiple mount points with different versions

thans for your answer but there s a misunderstanding
i want to mount volume on the netapp on different not on the client.
i would like to do that to have time to modify configuration on my numerous client

Yes, it is possible to mount a NetApp ONTAP volume in different locations simultaneously.

On the NetApp ONTAP system, export the volume by adding an NFS export policy.

On each client machine, you can mount the NFS volume using the mount command.
