Possible to create traditional aggregate and volume on Netapp Ontap 9.14?

Qns as above.... I'm facing issues joining my SVM to Windows 2003 AD for CIFS Share.... Read in another thread that it's possible to do so if my volume is non-flexgroup.

hello:First, you need to check if SMB1 is enabled. Since ONTAP 9.10.1, it is not allowed to create FlexGroup volumes that have SMB1 enabled. However, https://kb-cn.netapp.com/on-prem/ontap/Ontap_OS/OS-KBs/Why_FlexGroup_volume_is_created_failed_by_SMB1_not_supported_error_on_ONTAP_9_12_1

traditional volumes and aggregates can be created normally.
