Hi All,

I have a customer who complains about the following strange issue:

when snapvault stop command is issued the filer becomes unresponsive. Sysstat shows 100% CPU utilization.

Ontap = 7.3.6, filer = n3600....

The Ontap 6.5 versions had some similar issues I came across, but they seem to have been fixed in the 7.3.x versions.

They have 235 qtrees on A node and 77 on b node which I was assuming to be the problem if these numbers would have been very high.

Any ideas pointing towards the probable reason will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Kumar

u'd better open a case for that. use sysstat -M to see which domain chew all cpu. ps to see which process is quite busy and wafl susp -r and -w and the cpstats.........

of coz i think another way is wait a while

thanks

Jeff
