Snapmirror disk type relationship

Hello

I have the following question regarding snapmirror disk type .relation.

With DataOntap 7.3.3 and later

In a snapmirror sync and semi-sync relation the disk have to be the same type (FC -FC or SATA - SATA), It is cllear because of the performance issues.

But in a snapmirror async config - Can the disk be diferent? ( FC-SATA ),

I have read TR3326 and the FAQ. For the sync and semi-sync config the documentation is clear but not for async.

Any help or somebody knowing this config works.

Correct. You can mirror from FC/SAS on the source to SATA on the target.
