I have noticed that snapvault updates fail when active volume is full even though the snapshot space is empty. when i increase volume size by say i 1 G it goes through.

why is some space needed in active volume ? is there any ratio to number of files inthe volume.

Bala

Snapshot space can only be used for taking snapshot and cannot be used for user data writes or snapvault update. You will need to have data space in your volume to succeed the snapvault update.

Regards

adai
