what method to determine the performance between internal drives and Netapp luns on HPUX

We are comparing the disk performance between internal drives and NetApp luns on HPUX servers.

Could anybody please let me know what commands or tools to make such comparison.

I'd assume these tools/commands have to be running on HPUX.

I was about to recommend IOmeter, but you need HP-UX support which I'm not seeing that they have: http://www.iometer.org/doc/matrix.html. But there seem to be alternates such as IOTest or IOZone that could work. http://www.iozone.org/

I feel you may have to use the hpux iostat commands to capture the performance statistics of individual disks. Also there are software tools like Glance Plus which reports indepth performance statistics on hpux. For filers side performance statistics you shall use perfstat.
