NetApp E2724 VMware iSCSI Direct-Attach

Hi All,

I'm configuring E2724 iSCSI Direct-Attach on two vmware host.

VMware host had one nic connected on host port 1 of controller A and anather nic connected on host port 1 of controller B.

I use VMware software iscsi initiator.

I can ping, vmkping both controller and nc -z command can connect on both controller. but when i scan storage adapter i can't find any path

any ideas?

Please refer the iscsi express guide https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_get_file/ECMP1532522 to check if configured correctly.

Hi JGeorge,

my issue is resolved and was related to server side.

I must to setup the default vlan 1 on vic 1227 configuration of cisco ucs c220m4.

the strange was that without vlan configuration on vic 1227 i can ping and vmkping the storage but can't retrive the volume presented.
