I have Santricity Storage manager v11.30 installed but cannot locate the SMcli. I wanted to know if the cli is part of Santricity or if its a tool I install seperately?

The SMcli can be a little difficult to find since it isn't named that way. In the EMW go to Tools > Execute Script, this will start the Script Editor allowing you to run SMcli commands.
