    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It really depends on your business needs.&amp;nbsp; What you seem to be leaning to is leaving one controller pretty much as a backup, which is fine if that's what you want to do.&amp;nbsp; My only comment is that on controller 2, you can't not have a spare; Ontap won't like it, so go with the 2-disk raid 4 aggregate and one spare.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TR4070, Flash Pool Design and Implementation Guide, is interesting reading and you can get it from the support site. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>2240-4HA and Flash Pool</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;How would be the recommended setup for a 2240-4HA with 44 x 2TB SATA and 4 x 200GB SSD?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm thinking:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; Controller 1 with the Flash pool 3 disks RAID DP and 1 spare and 40 2TB SATA plus 1 spare&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Controller 2 with 3 disks either Raid 4 plus 1 spare or Raid DP and no spare&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a better way of doing this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
