    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you look at the ONTAP8.02 system configurator - &lt;A href="http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/hardware/NetApp/syscfg/scdot802/index.htm" target="_blank"&gt;http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/hardware/NetApp/syscfg/scdot802/index.htm&lt;/A&gt; - and select V3240 and Expansion Slots/Cards you get a table telling you what card should go in what slot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In the boxes for the slot number there is E then a number 1 - 6.&amp;nbsp; Can someone explain the significance of the E and the number ?&amp;nbsp; Is it the recommended slot for the device or something else ?&amp;nbsp; I dont want to assume what I think it might be.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dave&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
