DS4243 shelf id's changed automatically

Hi All,

Last week we have added new disk shelf's(DS4243) to a V-filer which already has 4 disk shelf connected numbered as 0 1 2 3 now the new disk shelf what we have added we set it to 4 later after sometime al the id's changes in an uncommon way like 0 9 4 5... Is this a bug to be fixed else how do i need to troubleshoot it.

Yes, there was a bug similar to it. Open support case so NetApp could guide you how to fix it.
