SSD sizing for flash pool

So I'm looking to purchase/configure a FAS8040 and utilize a hybrid storage solution - SATA, SAS & SSD. I would assign the SSD totally to either the SAS or SATA aggregates. How do I properly size the SSD configuration - i.e., how do I determine how many SSDs (and capacity drives) would be needed to complement the SAS or SATA aggregates?

To more accurately help size your disk requirements it would be helpful to know your performance requirements. SSD are the fire breathing dragon of disk performance, SAS drives are the median and the SATA drives will have the least amount of performance. Also consider your budget, SSD are the most expensive, SAS again are the median, and SATA are the least expensive.

If you have access to the FlashSelect tool this would be a great starting point
