Hi Everyone.

Im decomissioning a lot of old sheves from remote sites. I need to list serial numbers to make sure ive got the right shelves.

But the "environment status shelf" command shows a product serial number that doesnt match the netapp stickers stuck on the shelf. How can you match them up?

Ive attached an example of the label im looking at on the shelves (the numbers been obscured). Its a 7 digit number.

The command returns a string:

Product Serial Number: OPS65206219xx03

Does anyone know why this is or how to identify the shelves remotely without having access to a fas system?
