We are currenlty expereiencing an isssue where the fibre channel disks in a FAS2040 are being resported as having "lost communication" within virtual center and there status appears to be dead.

I have done some searching around for this issue and found the document below which mentions lun pathing issues. We have tried removing the offending disks using the method stated. The disks will disappear, but then new ones will appear and display an operational state of lost communication.

https://raj2796.wordpress.com/2012/03/14/vmware-vsphere-5-dead-lun-and-pathing-issues-and-resultant-scsi-errors/

If anyone has any information or anything that we can do to fix the issue it would be a great help.

Many thanks

James
