Cluster Interconnect ports

HI Guys,

I am new to netapp clustered ONTAP, just want to know about the interconnect ports in cluster mode. By default each node in cluster mode require 2 ports for interconnect. now is there any limit how many maximum interconnect ports we can keep for each node while designing clusters.

or is there any dependency based on the FAS model for interconnect ports.
