Hi,

The t3_link_fault is the onboard adapter bound to a faulty chip. This means the MotherBoard is likely just faulty and needs replacing.

Thanks

Hi,

My FAS8040 running 8.1.4P7 outputs the following error non-stop after logging in to the console.

MDIO read failed in t3_link_fault

I have not found much information about exactly what is wrong.

Does anyone know what exactly is the problem? Is it parts on the motherboard failing? Basically I am trying to find out whether the fault is on the motherboard itself or something external.

thanks,
