Query Regarding SnapMirror

Hi ,

Good Day!

I have a question regarding about snapmirror. The setup was from FAS1(Primary) we do a replication going to FAS2 (Secondary) , but we want to upgrade the FAS2(Secondary).

so we do a baseline from FAS2 to NEW FAS2 to create a baseline.

but after the baseline from FAS2 to NEW FAS2 is it possible to do a INCREMENTAL replication from FAS1 going to NEW FAS2 ? and how?

If you are using VSM, it is possible as long as fas1 and new fas2 have at least one common snapShot - just do resync from fas1 to new fas2.
