    <description>&lt;P&gt;ok, are u talking about iom? not ioxm?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if iom, it looks like cabling might be wrong or cable/iom failure. but some of amber light doesnt mean bad, did you check the meaning of light?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;as the log mentioned, for the iom cabling, the rule is "square in and circle out".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Hello All,&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; How would I know if my IOXM module is damaged. I mean do we have any specific command that shows me the Module is been damaged ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;We have FAS3240&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Thank&lt;/STRONG&gt;s&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Syed&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;commands "sysconfig -a" and "environment" can provide some info about ioxm. but why do you think that it's failed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jeff&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I see an Amber light comming on one of my controller infront anf back and when I run the command&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;netappctrl1&amp;gt; system health alert show&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Node: netappctrl1&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Resource: Adapter 0b&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Severity: Minor&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Probable Cause: HBA port 0b may be improperly connected to an IOM&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;square port, or the inter-shelf cabling may connect an&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;IOM square port to an IOM square port.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Possible Effect: Access to the disk shelves attached to controller&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;netappctrl1 via HBA port 0b may be lost with a single&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;hardware failure (e.g. cable, HBA, or IOM failure).&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Corrective Actions: 1.       <description>&lt;P&gt;We have not touched the cabling and I am sure cabling is not an issue.
