      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;FAS2000 series are integrated (controller with + disks in one enclosure). Other models need extra disk enclosure. What exactly you get depends on what you order – it is up to you ☺&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is so called v-Series which allows you to connect third-party storage systems as backend storage. But if you need native disks, then yes, you have to use those from NetApp.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

They need to be purchased from NetApp as the do some fine tuning to the disk firmware for compatibility.
