topic Why would there be excessive usage (90% on ethernet switch port) coming from ports e0a or e0b ? in ONTAP Hardware

Why would there be excessive usage (90% on ethernet switch port) coming from ports e0a or e0b on a mirrored set of v3240s (OnTap 8.2.3P4 7-Mode)?

We have SANs in two buildings. One is production, the other a backup site using Snapmirrors.

Our network guys noticed and traced the 90% usage to the e0a or e0b ports on the SAN.

All of our data is accessed via fibre-channel, and I use the SP ports for management.

Thanks in advance.

Is your SnapMirror traffic running over those Ethernet ports?
