Forwardning cifs/auditing to a central syslog host.

Hi,

When will it be possibly as an options in cDOT to forwarding all cifs aditing from a SVM to a central SYSLOG host like you allready can with cluster/system events, instead of you need to buy some 3 part product to capture evt files from a volume you have created inside your SVM.

It don't make sence, when we can se many other storage venders allreade have this as an options.

I cannot comment on this, but definitely you can reach out to your account team and they can facilitate RFEs. Support can check if RFEs exist and file if needed, and the account team can push to have that feature added.
