SIOC Integration - Burst IOPS

Hi All,

As my understanding, there is a vsphere plug-in has integrate SIOC and Storage QoS.

SIOC defines the minimum and maximum IOPS. But the plug-in provide not only minimum and maximum, but also has the setting of Burst IOPS.

My question is, VM access storage has been limited by maximum IOPS in SIOC. What is the scenario that the Burst IOPS will work?
