New-NcClone and -ignore-streams

Background:

Creating file clones using New-NcClone on a clustered DOT 8.2 platform.

Problem:

We are hitting Bug 719709 which relates to cloning a file with ACLs and file streams.

The workaround specified is to set the -ignore-streams parameter when using the volume file clone create command.

Trying to work out if New-NcClone can specify the -ignore-streams parameter to avoid hitting the bug.

Is this possible? Can someone provide guidance?

Hi Phoebe,

Toolkit 2.4 does not contain the IgnoreStreams parameter for New-NcClone. Look for this parameter to be added in the next release of the Toolkit.
