      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes, this will be an issue. Both DPM and SMHV uses VSS framework for Hyper-V backup using&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hyper-V VSS writer. Two VSS backup cannot run on same system at the same time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SMHV has this protection to check if another backup is running before starting a new backup and their by preventing this error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vineeth&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Adding to what Vineeth has explained below, two overlapping backups from two different products for a VM on a CSV can also cause serious issues. CSV does not keep the ‘backup in progress’ state per requester.
