SnapDrive running on Windows 2008 DCE

Has anyone had success running SnapDrive on Windows 2003 Data Center Edition? Currently I'm waiting on a PVR to see if I can install SnapDrive on a new Windows 2008 DCE Hyper-V cluster and hoping I'm not going to have to downgrade to Enterprise.

Hi,

My gut feeling is there is nothing to worry about: if it runs on win2k8 enterprise, it will quite likely run fine on win2k8 DCE as well.

At the end of the day this is the same OS with some capabilities capped in cheaper versions to justify the price tag of the top version

So far the install on Windows 2008 DCE has failed so I'm not sure why this is the case. I'm hopefull the PVR process will produce some results.

Roberto, I have succesfully installed Snapdrive 6.1 on Win 08 R2 RC DCE Core with Hyper V. I don't believe its officially supported yet but now that R2 has gone into RTM, there is no excuse for Netapp not to officially support the installation on R2 DCE.
