Dear PowerShell Community,

There is an issue with “New-NcVol” cmdlet released in Package 9.11.1.2208 that impacts Clusters 9.10 and above only. The New-NcVol cmdlet does not properly pass the "type" field to the volume create operation, and therefore always creates volumes with the default type of RW.

Workaround: In case you want to create a volume of other types such as “dp” or “ls”, then use the cmdlet along with -Ontapi switch parameter e.g. “New-NcVol -Ontapi”.

The issue will be fixed in our upcoming release.

Regards,

NetApp PowerShell Toolkit Team
