AFAIK from 9.14.1 ONTAPI is removed from Date Ontap, right? So, when I try to connect to a 9.14.1 Cluster with the 9.14.1 Powershell toolkit I still need to use -ONTAPI ? So, the transition to REST isn't complete with 9.14.1 yet? Also there is no mapping information for connect-ncontroller as well as no mapping information for 9.14.1 on the dev site.

Anyone knows the actual progress and timeline for this?

Which ONTAP software version was to be the final version to support ONTAPIs (ZAPIs)?

ONTAP 9.13.1 software, which is expected to release in the second quarter (Q2) of calendar year 2023, will be the final version to offer normal support of ONTAPI.
After further evaluation, we are announcing that EOA for ONTAPI is deferred to January 2024 instead of the earlier communicated date of January 2023.
To facilitate a smooth transition from ONTAPI to REST API, ONTAPI access can be re-enabled if required on ONTAP 9.14.1 through 9.17.1.
- ONTAPI access re-enablement will not be supported on ONTAP 9.18.1.
- In ONTAP 9.14.1 or 9.15.1, if ONTAPI usage is detected at the time of upgrade, it will remain enabled by default. If ONTAPI usage is not detected, it will be disabled; customers have the option to reenable it using the CLI.
- For ONTAPI access beyond the 9.15.1 release, please contact ng-ontapi-queries@netapp.com with a brief summary of any concerns about using or migrating to the REST API.
