About Renewing NCIE-SAN, ONTAP (NS0-506)

Greeting Everyone.

I am currently preparing to renew my NCIE-SAN, ONTAP, earned after passing the old NS0-506. Is there anyone who can kindly enlighten me if I can use NS0-505 (NCIE-SAN, E-series) to renew my NCIE-SAN, ONTAP?

Any reply would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Hello,

To renew your NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer - SAN Specialist - ONTAP (NCIE SAN ONTAP) certification, you would need to do the following:

1) if your current NCIE SAN ONTAP certification is still active, you would need to pass the latest NCIE SAN ONTAP exam (NS0-507) which will renew your certification status.

If your NCIE SAN ONTAP certification is no longer active, then you need

1) An active NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP certification (which can be earned by passing the NCDA ONTAP exam (NS0-158) and

2) Passing the NCIE SAN ONTAP exam (NS0-507).

The NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer - SAN, E-Series exam and certification do not impact the NCIE SAN ONTAP certification.
