Hello, Is it possible to create a 'user' quota rule for a Windows group? I mean; I have two AD groups; nas5gb, nas10gb. I want to create a quota rule for the members of this groups; if a user is a member of 'nas5gb', its quota is 5gb or if a user is a member of 'nas10gb', its quota is 10gb. I have created a user quota and added 'mydomain\nas5gb', but it did not work. Do I need to add all users list into the quota rule?

Hi,

One possible method could be to use Windows Group Policy to specify and map the CIFS shares provided by the Netapp, and implement the 5/10GB limit per group/user. If the user is a member of one AD group, one policy is applied, another group, another policy is applied ?

We use GP to implement limits on Users my documents, which is a CIFS share from one appliance.

Martin
