Hi,

I'm about to change the parmeter nfs.tcp.recvwindowsize from the default to its maximum using the command: "options nfs.tcp.recvwindowsize 8388608"

My question is if it will catch on the fly, or that I will need to restart nfs.

On the articles I read, there is nothing regarding restarting the NFS - but on bug 103181 (http://now.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/bol?Type=Detail&Display=103181) they say that "nfs off" & "nfs on" should be ran after changing the option. But it seems like an old bug, and maybe this action plan is also old..

When I changed this parameter in my lab, nfs contiued to work normaly, but I don't if this parameters actually got updated in the system.

Please advise

Thanks,

Amir
