A 5000 Copying files from one server to filer through 1GB network: 4 minutes&lt;BR /&gt; 2.- A 5000 Copying files from one server to a shared folder on another server: 30 seconds.Machines: Windows 2008 R2 SP1Thanks&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="body"&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Was this the order of your test?&amp;nbsp; If so, the data for the second copy was likely still in cache, while for the first copy it would have had to have been read from disk.&amp;nbsp; You'd need to clear the buffer cache to ensure make the tests equal.&amp;nbsp; Alternatively, you could run test 1, test 2, then run test 1 before - if the data was already in the buffer for test 2, then it still should be for the second test 1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bill&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

What is the aggregate layout on the filer?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
