topic Experience with Anti-Virus Products for CIFS Scanning (Symantec, Trend, McAfee, other?) in Network and Storage Protocols

I am about to deploy a FAS2020 for CIFS file sharing for a small law firm with about 50 desktops. We currently have McAfee VirusScan Enterprise on all desktops and servers. I'm wanting to protect our data with server-based Antivirus solution. I priced Symantec, Computer Associates, McAfee and Trend Micro's products designed for NetApp filers. Symantec priced out the cheapest and McAfee the most expensive.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these products, both from a performance and effectiveness and ongoing management perspective? There really isn't too much online discussing these products.

Someone recommended using a different brand product for the filer than the endpoints for added protection.

Some links for those who may be curious:

http://www.symantec.com/business/antivirus-for-network-attached-storage

http://www.mcafee.com/us/products/virusscan-enterprise-for-storage.aspx

http://home3.ca.com/partnerportal/business/BusinessProducts/totaldefense.aspx

Thanks.
