How to authentication FTP by Windows AD?

Hi I found that,

if I use useadmin command to create local account,

the NetApp FTP will login failure!

How can I Implement FTP authentication by Windows AD?

just use cifs setup go join AD?

or I must do some other config?

Please help me!

To use AD users you have to run 'cifs setup'.

I experimented a bit with anonymous FTP and authentication via /etc/passwd (local account), but every variation in set parameters produced a different error.
