setup Quota for CIFS share

Hi Guys

I am using FAS30xx with ontap 6.2.x version. I wanted to setup quota for my CIFS shares, could you please shed some light on options i have?

Sorry, what version?? Isn't it the time to think about some upgrade?

Seriously though - this doc gives a thorough explanation about quotas:

I just whizzed through this & it looks like most of the content should be applicable to 6.2 as only few bits are marked as requiring 6.5 or later.

So, this is software from external vendor, there is another option which is file storage resources manager from Netapp. any thoughts on Netapp product? there is nothing free which I can use?

Read the doc:

"This guide walks you through quota setup from native Data ONTAP and from NTP Software QFS for NAS, NetApp Edition."

Chapters 1-5 are only about inbuilt NetApp filer capabilities.
