    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for th reply, I have looked and it does say how to configure it in terms of the assigning the IP, but it does not explain how to configure the interfaces.&amp;nbsp; My understanding is that interface for the SP needs an interface so that it can be accessed externally, and such interface is the wrench one (e0M).&amp;nbsp; So if the SP IP is one, and the IP for e0M is another, how are you supposed to connect to filer in case of a failure.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alberto&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

They are two different interfaces connected to internal switch that is connected to the wrench port. So they need different IP addresses, and you apparently set them to the same address.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;See diagram in Administration Guide which explains is very well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
