Hello,

After updading the FAS250 from ONTAP 7.0 to 7.3 a strange error occours. When someone ist working with a shared document e.g. a word document another user can only read this word document and can't change anything. Until that everything seems to be ok. BUT after the first user closed the word document nobody can work with this document anymore. It is write protected! No other user can write into this document.

Thank's for yout help.

Sounds like a stuck file lock maybe? Try 'lock status' with appropriate options (-p cifs if you're windows?), and look for the file in question. If it shows up (and you're sure it's not open), you can break the lock with 'lock break'.

Bill
