    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the following folder /vol/vol1/qtree1/folder1/user1.&amp;nbsp; I would like to create a symlink /vol/vol1/qtree1/folder1/newuser1 that redirects to "user1". &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know for this filer, cifs.smylink.enable is set to "on". &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do I need a map entry since I'm not redirecting to another volume or share?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a command I can run on the filer to create the symlink on the CIFS share or are symbolic link only ever used from another server that mounts or accesses the shares remotely?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in Advance!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
