If so, try creating a sub directory and see if that works.       <title>OnCommand 5.0 upgrade - database backup failing</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have recently completed the upgrade from DFM 4.0.2 to OnCommand 5 and now my OC database backups are failing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had my backups going to a CIFS share on a filer, but now it fails unless the backup is run local to the machine.&amp;nbsp; I know the DB itself cannot run to a network location, but why can't the backup be run there?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"The error is 4684 : 0x1254 : Could not prepare the keystore file for backup"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OC5 host:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 2003 SP2 running on VMware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - 1 CPU at 2.8GHz&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - 3 GB RAM&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - 22 GB free on the drive that OC runs off of&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - All services run with a service account with access to the CIFS share that has been verfied after the failure started(Including the two new ones.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CIFS connection:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - FAS3160 on a shelf of SATA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - ONTAP 8.0.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any thoughts on this are appreciated!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Scott&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
