They can be considered equivalent of security groups in Windows.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For quota groups are taken from local /etc/group, or network based LDAP or NIS backends depending on settings in /etc/nsswitch.conf.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to create quota rule!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First I crate a group name group1,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://community.netapp.com/legacyfs/online/15610_group.JPG" width="450" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and I add a quota rule and limite the group1 in quota 50MB,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but Data ontap tell me that [group name group1 not found]&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://community.netapp.com/legacyfs/online/15611_group2.JPG" width="450" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even I use the [Users] Group,It always error&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://community.netapp.com/legacyfs/online/15618_group3.JPG" width="450" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help me,and tell me why!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how can I fix this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you ver much!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
