Hello Folks,

I have my NetApp FAS3040 is in SAN environment and i have 200G LUN's created on FAS3040 now my question is I need to migrate the 200G LUN to

EMC CLARiiON Box. So to do this process can i use SAN copy to migrate to CLARiiON box.

If you people can help me out this situation what software do i really want to use or i can do this process as host level based migration it would be really help full if you can send me document or attach any link for this process or suggest any software to use.

waiting for your valuable suggestions.

Thanks

Navin.

Nasty - typically we'd love to see a reverse process 😉

In my opinion it's purely a host-level task, as FAS LUN does not equal Clariion LUN by any means.

So the actual question is what kind of a data resides in that LUN? If this is related with any apps, then application-specific tools should be used (e.g. moving Exchange mailstore to a new location via Exchange mgmt console).

Regards,
Radek
