Alerting/Reporting on LUN Whitespace

Hi All,

Is there a way that we can use On Command for Netapp to report and alert on LUN % Space Used, i,e LUNs that have a lot of whitespace within them using allocated space?

We also have Microsoft's System Center Operations 2007 R2 using Appliance Watch version 2.1, does anyone know of a way we can report on LUN % Space used using this tool as well?

In OnCommand you can schedule the reports. You would get a mail as follows with the report attachment:

Hi,

OnCommand doesn't have any reports to show the Lun Used space.

But we can write a customized script to report the same.

BTW what is the ONTAP version you are using?
