Hi,

IHAC asking if we have any preferences regarding to virtual controllers to pick from a virtual guest (BusLogic Parallel, LSI Logic Parallel, LSI Logic SAS).
There is no reference to that in TR-3749.

Can you tell if it makes a difference as related to us? My customer is 100% SAN Boot (not internal disk at all, not even for swap), so the question is related to the connection to the Netapp, not to internal disk.

Hmm....speaking with my VCP hat on (although it is a funny looking hat ), I don't see how the underlying storage array (NetApp in this case) would have any impact on what SCSI adapter is chosen. Given that, I'd go with the previous reply and just recommend hitting the VMware forums for general VMware-driven best practices.
