topic Lacp vs multi-mode in Network and Storage Protocols

Hello everyone:

i've read posts about the comparison between static multimode and lacp.

and i'd like to know how to test the advantage of LACP in our environment.

Please help me to identify whether the method below will work?

1.I connect two 10G ports of the netapp 8060 with two n5k switches

2.In static multimode move the port from the switch to a unconfigured port

3.Then the data ontap cannot detect the link is abnormal

4.Change the mode to lacp and then also move the the port from the switch to a unconfigured port

5.I will see the data ontap can detect the link is down

do you think this method will work, or is there any better method?

Thank you very much!
