Enabling audition on the whole Vserver - CIFS

Hi everyone!

I am relatively new to NetApp. Our specialist lieft a few month ago and I took the charge of the NetApp.

We are using FAS-2554 with ONtap 9.

Our security team recently asked me to enable audit on the CIFS vserver. They whant to monitor all file/folder creation/modification/suppression for everyone.

I know how to enable that from the GUI but it will takes days and days to change the audit information on all the files.

Is there any way to enable audit on the while vserver for all file from the CLI or I have no other choice than doing it from Windows?

Also, I suppose that enablint auditig will affect my snapshot since all file will be "modified" due to ne nes sacls ?
