Hi guys,

quick question

can i directly connect my fas3170c and fas3140c to ipv6 infrastructure without get extra/new hardware or software?

(currently using ipv4)

if no, what do i need to make it sucessfull?

Hello,

IPv6 is supported without any need for additional hardware.

type "options ip.v6.enable on" on the netapp controllers .

For CIFS/NFS use these commands

type "options cifs.ipv6.enable on"

type "options nfs.ipv6.enable on"
