I am in the process of trying to get this to work in my environment. I am using the built-in SNMP traps in DOT to forward draps to ops manager as well as HP Network Node Manager. So far it's working as expected. You can also create user defined SNMP traps. They don't offer as much information as the built-in traps...however I think their thresholds are configurable which makes them a bit more flexible. I also tried to use the SNMP Traphost option within an Ops Mgr alarm....can't get that to work.
