Hi all,

we are using OnCommand Console 5.1 in conjunction with Host Package 1.2 (installed on a vCenter 4.1) to backup the VMware Datastores and VMs.

All Backup Jobs work properly without any errors for local backups as well as for remote backups.

But if we try to restore a virtual Machine by chosing a backup and click on the restore button the job fails, regardless which backupversion, local or remote, we choose.

Additionally the job for mounting the backup to a ESXi Server also fails with the same error message. The OnCommand Software is running on a

separate system with Windows 2008 R2. Attached a sceenshot of the first error, which seems to cause the following ones.

Any ideas regarding this behaviour ?

Thanks in advance

Stefan
